Requirement

The client operates an Australia-wide car buying business.

The client was seeking to obtain additional data for their data analytics, in particular, they were:

  • Seeking to understand postcode and suburb trends for vehicles purchased
  • Reporting on metal margin based on a predefined calculation
  • Extracting reports on the costs and administration charges


    • Titan is the Dealer Management System that Sell My Car had elected to use.

    As a car buying unit, Sell My Car was working with Titan, in effect back to front, since Titan was primarily designed to sell cars, not to buy vehicles and process trade-ins.

    Solution

    Custom Reports

    Athena IT worked with Titan to produce custom reports.

    Custom queries were written in the advanced Titan interface.

    Titan includes a solution to automatically create scheduled reports that can be scooped up into Domo or TableAU for automatic analysis

    Impact

    The business automatically digests these reports in it's data analysis platforms
